Testing BlogJet

March 8th, 2007

I have installed an interesting application - BlogJet. It’s a cool Windows client for my blog tool (as well as for other tools). Get your copy here: http://blogjet.com.

It allows you to edit posts for your blogs while you are offline and publish them later.

Building a Technology Blog

October 16th, 2006

The transition from using Blogger.com to building blogs in Wordpress has been interesting. In one sense, using Blogger is so simple if all you want is a basic blog that it temps you to put up with its shortcomings. On the other hand, Wordpress offers much greater control and versatility, but with the disadvantage of a far steeper learning curve. I’m building four different blogs at the same time using Wordpress, and each needs to have a completely different style. I hope I don’t end up with some kind of blend of the four. This is at present the simplest of the four, with few modifications from the default template, but today I was pleased to be able to incorporate my Bloglines favourite blogs feeds.

Welcome to VK3ZDD’s amateur radio and electronics blog

September 23rd, 2006

Welcome to my amateur radio and electronics blog.

On this blog and website I plan to post my projects and experiences in the wonderful world of radio and electronics design, construction and operation. I hope you enjoy it and find it useful. Perhaps you will find something to encourage you in the creation of your own masterpiece, just as I was inspired by those before me to enter into a long career and hobby in this field.
